Stories have been going around that a student from Oakland, California has not been getting enough internal sleep from leaving electronics on while they sleep.

J.D Moyer was becoming suspicious when he could not fall asleep until midnight every night. When he was too tired to get up for school each day he decided to take a sleeping test. The sleeping test told him that the electronics being left on while he sleeps keeps him up. What he decided to do about this was turn off his computer, refrigerator light bulb, and all the rest of the gadgets in his household.

Could Moyer be on to something?  Glowing electronics such as laptops and the new iPad may be tricking your brain into thinking its day time.

While sleeping the electronics reset your internal sleep clock and keeps anybody from getting sleep, it’s not only Moyer that isn’t getting all the sleep that he needs. Students at Wyandot can be affected by this because let’s say they get a new call of duty game, they will be on longer then there actual bed time. Leaving them tired in the morning.
