Landis admits he took steroids, accuses Armstrong

In the 2006 Tour De France, Floyd Landis was accused of taking steroids, he admits now he took the steroids during the tour. Floyd Landis admits he took steroids that he was allegedly accused of. He also accuses Lance Armstrong to take steroids during the same time Landis did.  Landis accuses more big named cyclists during the same tour. Armstrong denies these accusations.

Landis accused Armstrong and the others May 20, 2010, during the Amgen Tour of California. Many sports reporters were not surprised that he accused Armstrong, saying Armstrong was taking the steroids from him. Landis told Andrew Messick that he took the steroids, but he did not say that he was going to accuse other people. Landis sent Messick an email saying he did not know the allegations would come out and the antidoping officials are trying to destroy the athletes publicly.

“He was trying to find other riders to come clean with him, but nobody would,” Andrew Messick said,

Landis had no other documents that said that the other riders took the steroids. He can’t really get the other riders in trouble. Landis lost his 2006 tour De France title and denied that he took it then but he is now coming out saying he did. All the other riders deny his allegations.

Landis is sorry that he lied in 2006, and he is sorry that he accused the other riders. He felt that he had to get it out, and come clean. He accused Armstrong and others because he felt they should be punished for doing the same as he. Floyd Landis doesn’t want the situation to get worse.
