The Final Match!

             Soccer is one of the greatest sports in the world and on May 22, 2010 the UEFA Champions League final match will be on. Will the Italians of Milan win or will the Germans of Munich? Who will take home the UEFA Champions League trophy Inter Milan or Bayern Munich?

                Inter Milan had to defeat Barcelona, Barcelona had high hopes to defeat Milan. Milan’s defense was great; they didn’t even let Lionel Messi breath. The top scorer in the UEFA Champions League with 8 goals! In the Semi Finals, Inter defeated Barcelona 3-1, but there was still a second leg and Barcelona beat them 1-0 so the final score was 2-3 and Inter took the victory.

                As for Bayern Munich, they didn’t really have a challenge from Lyon; Bayern Munich played very good games. In the first leg, Bayern Munich beat Lyon 1-0, and in the second leg Bayern Munich won 3-0. The final score was 4-0 and Bayern Munich got into the finals.

                On May 22, 2010 at 2:30pm the whistle blew for the final to begin, it was a great start for both teams until the 35^th minute Diego Milito, a striker for Inter Milan, scored. The crowd went wild. It was a great goal, it started from the goalie he cleared it to the 40 yard line at the other end and Milito headed it to Esteban Cambiasso  and Cambiasso lead it to Milito and GOAL!!!!

                Twenty seconds in the second half Bayern Munich had a great shot, but Juilo Ceaser blocked it with his legs. They had more chances, but Inter’s defense was on a roll.  The deal was sealed at the 70^th minute when again Milito scored. Bayern Munich played a very good game, but Inter played better and smarter.
