Dogs – Man’s Best Friend

                  For decades, dogs have been known as man’s best friend. Adopting a dog can be a wonderful experience for the whole family. Although having a dog in your family can be fun, we have to remember that dogs are not toys. The decision to adopt a dog is a very big decision that needs to be thoroughly thought through.

                  There are many reasons why dogs are good for humans. Young children, who are born and raised in the presence of a dog, are usually more sincere towards other humans when they grow up. They understand how to be a caring person in times of need, because dogs do just that. Children also learn how to be responsible. Making sure a dog is fed, bathed, and brushed is hard work.

 There’s nothing more comforting than being sick, laying on the couch, cuddled up next to your dog. Dogs provide the unconditional love and support that everyone needs. Dogs are never out to criticize you whereas people are the opposite. These loving animals get rid of your boredom and loneliness.

                  Dogs are available for adoption at animal shelters. It’s always a good thing to take a dog from an animal shelter because once a dog is adopted form the shelter, the shelter takes another dog from the pound to prevent that dog from being put to sleep. Everyone benefits from having a dog living with them.
