Schools ALMOST Over!

     June 16, 2010 is the most exciting day for most kids in school, you wanna know why? That’s when summer starts.

     Do you think that it is unfair that school lasts almost a year but summer lasts a little over two months? We think that we should get more vacation time because we work our butts off in school with homework, we think it’s only fair. Also we think that schools should cut down hours, because the first two hours of school are totally pointless. We usually just sit there. If they cut down those hours we could go to school later and that would cut down the number of kids sleeping in class.

            An example of the first two hours of being pointless is like Realistic Fiction and Tech Ed; pretty much any fiction classes. Sometimes we don’t even do anything in that hour besides silent reading; we can do that at home. Tech Ed is pointless because you just sit in front of a computer screen all day, and then the woodshop is the only fun part of the class.

             In conclusion, if we cut down the number of hours of class everyone will be happier and more awake!
