Cut Down School Hours!

Basically school is six hours long, not including lunch, but you don’t realize but for two hours you’re wasting your time. Some of the special classes are a waste, I mean sure it’s fun to experience other classes but if you don’t absolutely need those classes, then we’re wasting time

Certain special classes are a waste of time I think, like realistic fiction. Obviously kids our age know what realistic fiction is by now, and if you don’t, then I think you’re old enough to look it up on your own time. Plus if you don’t enjoy the class then you aren’t going to try your best. Most literacy classes are boring and a waste, half of the class time you just sit there and read, and then fill out a worksheet. That’s not fun at all!

To solve this problem I think kids should only have one hour of specials, or none at all, so kids can have more time to themselves instead of being stuck in a classroom all day. Plus kids can have more time to do homework if they choose to. Maybe one day schools all over the United States will do this, but for now we can only hope.
