Will Former Gymnast Compete at the 2012 Olympics?

According to USA today, both Shawn Johnson and Anastasia (Nastia) Liukin are planning on competing in the 2012 Olympics in London, England.
Both gymnasts took home plenty of medals in the 2008 Beijing Olympics including a gold medal each. Shawn Johnson took home a gold medal on beam while Nastia took home a gold medal in individual all around gymnastics. Shawn Johnson also won three silver medals in floor, individual all around, and in the U.S. gymnastics team. Nastia on the other hand also won three silver medals in uneven bars, beam, and in the U.S. gymnastics team. Lastly, Nastia won one bronze medal on floor.
At the time Shawn Johnson was 16 years old which just met the requirements that state you must be at least 16 years old to compete in the Olympics. Nastia was 18 at the time. If they compete in the 2010 Olympics Shawn will be 20 and Nastia will be 22. To get ready for the Olympics both gymnast have started intense training. They only have about 2 more years to get ready for this competition.
