Can You Fake Meat?

          Scientists have made it possible so that you can get the same flavor as whatever meat you want, but without killing the actual animal. Scientist from the University of Missouri, after more than a decade of research, have made the first soy product that doesn’t just taste like chicken, but has the texture of it in your mouth.

          Vegetarians are excited about this new breakthrough. In Missouri, Tibbott's Oregon-based Turtle Island Foods is famous for his full-flavored fake turkey. Like his competitors Tibbott is thinking whether or not he should buy this product. Fake meat not only tastes like what it is, but works in your mouth like the real thing. This has great potential in the market business.

          The question is would people actually buy this product if it was actually sold in stores? Would people be interested in buying fake meat? Maybe in the near future we don’t have to kill animals to get the satisfaction of the flavor of meat.
