Oil Spill

JUNE 9,2010

     The oil spill of 2010 was a very sad thing that happened. There was too much pressure on the oil rig that it exploded. Some animals were injured and many of them have died. It’s a sad tragedy. It’s even affecting people lives. BP was in charge of cleaning up the oil spill, but many of their attempts have failed. Hopefully the oil will get cleaned soon and people can get on living normal lives by the coast.

          The government should be more helpful in the clean up and try to prevent more oil spills from happening. Animals are suffering, and they don’t know any better. You can’t train a seagull not to eat the fish in the Gulf. They don’t know what an oil spill is; all they know is that after they go into the water, they are going to die, Unless we help them.

          We can go and help clean up the oil spill, and save the animals. BP is trying to get the spill stopped but nothing is working, if we all put out minds together we could figure out how to stop more oil from spilling out into the ocean and costing people their jobs, and animal’s lives’.
