NHL 10 Spectacular!

            Recently, I was at my friend’s house and we played the newest hockey game for the Xbox 360. The game was NHL 10 and while we were playing, I was becoming more and more intrigued at how real this awesome game is! It made me feel as if I was an actual NHL hockey player playing for the 2010 Stanley Cup Championship team, the Chicago Blackhawks. The graphics for this game are spectacular, some of the players in this game look exactly like the actual human being, because of their facial expressions and their features. The actual faces on these virtual hockey players, in my opinion, is almost the exact same as the real life people. Although these graphics are absolutely amazing, the game features are also outstanding.

            While I was playing this game, I noticed that after each whistle, you could push players on the other team around and actually start a fight. This is new to me because in games from the past years, you could push people around but that’s all that would happen. Also the features about each team’s jersey are identical to the team’s actual uniforms. For instance they are all Reebok jerseys and the Detroit Red Wings’ C or A for assistant captain or captain is on the left side, and in the game they are on the left side. The equipment for each player is exactly what they wear as well, whether they use Reebok, CCM or even Bauer equipment. This game is truly amazing and I am extremely happy that I got to play it. I 100 percent recommend this game to anyone who loves hockey.
